Raymond Titus Hirs is a modern artist and sculptor from Amsterdam. Born in 1947, he studied at Rietveld Art Academy in Amsterdam from 1976 to 1981. His eclectic style is as hard to classify as it is to put your mind around it. He works from a spacious studio (A08) at the KSNM island in Amsterdam. His broad range of work includes installations, books, digital publications on video and CD-ROM’s, sculptures, paintings, (traveling) exhibitions, (card) games and inventions. He is also part of the foundation Stichting OlYfant that helps art students find work spaces.
